Considered the appointment of the device and the principles of system operation and control antenna (SKUA) radio telescope. SKUA is the lower level control system of radiotelescopes, provides automatic guidance on the cosmic sources of radio signals and automatic tracking of them in accordance with the program observations. SKUA a hardware-software systems with distributed elements, operating in real time. In the presented new release SKUA focuses on the reliability of the antenna system as a whole, provided both hardware and software solutions.
