A digital data stream converter makes it possible to allocate narrow-band signals in a radio telescope with the wideband data acquisition system. It reduces data streams from the radio telescope to the correlator considerably. Stability of the signal delay in the digital converter is investigated experimentally. The scheme and the description of the experiment are presented. It is shown that the delay in the digital converter does not vary during one session of observations. The delay in this converter does not affect the accuracy of the VLBI measurements.
