The purpose of this work is the development, production and implementation of a new two-channel L-band receiver. The report focuses on our new engineering design for its frequency conversion unit with an integrated local oscillator and a noise generator. These units include a number of modern microstrip technology based elements. A new control and power supply system is described. It gives new opportunities for remote control and malfunction detection. The article contains measurement results of each receiver’s main parameters such as gain and noise figures.
