Abstract

New functional structure, configuration of the field programmable gate array (FPGA) and improved software for the 512 MHz bandwidth Digital Data Acquisition System are developed. This makes it possible to measure amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency characteristics of radio telescope channels, as well as signal group delays in channels. A simple way to align the signal group delays in a multi-channel receiving device has been proposed. Possibilities of converting a radio interferometric channel to the radiometer backend or to a spectrometer for observation of narrowband space radio emissions are shown.
