Abstract

A review of existing and developing receiving systems is provided. The article describes the wideband receiving system with the bandwidth from 2 GHz to14 GHz designed and produced in the IAA RAS. It is described its structural schematic and composition principles. We provide some information about those parts which are already created and about their experimental models. A lot of attention is given to the frontend part. Technical details of its feed and its general design are provided. Advantages of using the wideband system in the new generation networks and interferometers are estimated.
