Analysis and optimization of the detector HW circuit gave 45 dB detector dynamic range (within 1 dB deviation from the ideal quadratic transfer characteristic - quadratic one), and this dynamic range is considerably greater than that of the known variants of the diode detectors. It is shown theoretically and experimentally that a further increase in dynamic range of the detector to 50 dB can be obtained in the detector DDFW circuit.
