About the paperAbstract
We have developed geometrical optics and diffraction models of the RATAN-600 antenna system "South sector + Flat reflector" with a tertiary mirror. We present the results of study of its characteristics. Introducing the auxiliary mirror allows expanding image field size of the antenna system, thus using feed array receiver. Spline-profile smooth-walled horns for 8 mm wavelength were designed and manufactured in order to use them in the modified antenna system.
