About the paperAbstract
The article presents the results of the use of virtual machines based on a workstation Sun Fire X4450 with external disk array StorageTek 2530, which provides communication between the observatories of "Quasar" network and the center of correlation processing in e-VLBI mode. We compare this system with a similar system based on real servers. A conclusion is made about the use of virtual machines as the primary (backup) data exchange system in the e-VLBI mode for the global navigation system GLONASS.
