About the paperAbstract
The article presents the results of upgrading the VLBI-network “Quasar” with S- and X-band receivers. The upgrade goals are to improve performance and reliability and to reduce weight and size of equipment. It required developing all receiver units using modern components and technology. Consequently, the performance of receiver channels, maintainability and reliability were improved with less amount of hardware.
