Abstract
The analysis of the Celestial Intermediate Pole (CIP) offsets, received from VLBI observations during last 25 years, has shown that amplitude and phase of CIP oscillation which are caused by Retrograde Free Core Nutation (RFCN) are changed in time. In particular, in 1999 there was an amplitude damping and phase shift then their period has increased almost for 20 days. These results are indicative of considerable excitation of RFCN, geophysical nature of which is yet to be explained
