Abstract
Pulsars are considered as some excellent time keepers on the long time intervals, in particular. On the modern state of art it is demonstrated, that their spin period stability rivals the best atomic clocks. An ensemble pulsar time scale, based on a collection of extra stable millisecond pulsars, is believed to make a direct detection of gravitational waves
