Abstract
The necessity of applying navigation satellite system to global permanent monitoring high-altitude distribution of the Earth ionosphere electronic concentration along Earth-satellite direction by radiograph method is shown. The efficiency of using radio tomography technique to real-time investigation of the integral electronic concentration and parameters of layered structure of ionosphere along satellite-satellite direction is proved. Special features of methods developed in the Kotelnikov IRE RAS for monitoring atmosphere condition and determination of its parameters using navigation satellite systems are described. The results of practical application of these methods are considered
