Abstract
Scientific and practical achievements of the Laboratory of Radio Astronomical Receiving Devices on the eve of its 20th anniversary are presented. The history of developing the equipment for the radio astronomical network , begun in 1986, is described. Within this work the pre-production models of high-sensitive ultra low-noise cryo electronic radiometers have been designed and produced. Electromagnetic conditions in places where the observatories were supposed to erect were investigated. Successful operating experience of model and experimental samples proved correctness of those technical decisions. Now necessary upgrade of the equipment is carried out, in particular, amplifier-converting channels are changed for the purpose of widening of reception band. The monitoring and control system is upgrading now: in 2003–2006 essentially new control system has been developed.
