About the paper Full textAbstract
The permanent works on evaluating and predicting the Earth’s Orientation Parameters (EOP) values are provided in the Main Metrological Center of State Service of Time, Frequency and EOP evaluation (MMC SSTF). First of all, these works are provided within the functioning SSTF frame and include: the Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) measurements taken at Federal Agency for technical regulation and metrology (ROSSTANDART) metrological control sites which are located in Mendeleevo (Moscow region) and Irkutsk city; the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) tracking at ROSSTANDART metrological control sites located in Mendeleevo (Moscow region) and the cities of Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Khabarovsk and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskii; processing GNSS, SLR and VLBI data of national and foreign services and EOP evaluation for every space geodetic technics separately; combining the data and the results of EOP evaluations and the formation of SSTF EOP bulletins and dissemination it’s. The role of FSUE «VNIIFTRI» as MMC SSTF is stated by the Russian government decree № 225. The work is underway to operate the funds of EOP evaluation and prediction by the combination of SINEX files; SSTF programing correlator created by IAA RAS and SLR station of SLR2000 standards «Tochka»; ROSSTANDART Center of data. The investigations of GNSS data processing for the evaluation of GNSS satellites orbits and clocks so as satellite altimetry data processing are also provided. The works of MMC SSTF for EOP evaluation and prediction from 2021 to 2023 are briefly considered. The quality of EOP evaluated values and other parameters is evaluated using the method of comparison MMC SSTF data with IERS data and data of other national and international Analysis Centers (AC) and Data Centers (DC). The comparison of the results testifies to high scientific and technical level of work carried out in MMC SSTF for evaluating and predicting EOP.
