Abstract

The DORIS (Doppler Orbitography and Radio positioning Integrated by Satellite) Data Analysis Center of the Institute of Astronomy RAS (INASAN) supplies its products to the International DORIS Service (IDS) on the regular basis in compliance with the IDS defined standards and time delay. Currently, the DORIS measurements in the doris2.2 format are processed in the INASAN using the GIPSY-OASIS II software developed by the JPL (USA). Since the launch of the JASON-2 satellite (2008), the DORIS measurements have been introduced in the new RINEX format, which, according to the IDS, will remain the only DORIS data format in the near future. The current version of the GIPSY-OASIS II program does not support the processing of measurements in the RINEX format, therefore it became necessary for the INASAN to develop its own software for the DORIS data processing in the RINEX format in order to continue its existence as the center of the IDS analysis. The article presents our first results of the RINEX DORIS data processing.
