Mechanisms of the phase instability and ways to reduce it are considered for a precision 100 MHz signal which is transmitted via a fiber optic line. We present our results of such signal transmitted with the help of a set of the “Vremya-CH” JS Company’s equipment. This set of equipment is created in two versions — without compensation and with compensation of the phase instability. The presented scheme of electronic compensation has a lower sensitivity to temperature and a higher spectral purity of the signal transmitted via the optical fiber.
