The paper investigates the influence of timing the data from a TV camera and a GNSS receiver on the accuracy of astronomical coordinates determined by the automated zenith telescope. The procedure of timing supervision is proposed. It is based on the time intervals used as the reference data and calculated by frame-to-frame displacement of star images. The efficiency of the procedure is confirmed by the data obtained using our test model of the zenith telescope.
