Radio Observations of the V404 Cygni Micro Quasar Exceptional Flare Activity in June and December 2015

Abstract

The results of radio observations of the micro quasar V404 Cygni violent outburst which started on 15th June 2015, after 25 years of silence, and its subsequent December mini-outburst are presented. The observations were carried out by two RT 32 radio telescopes at Badary and Zelenchukskaya Observatories of the IAA RAS at the wavelength of 3.5 cm during two periods: from 27th June 2015 to 7th August 2015 and from 25th December 2015 to 8th January 2016. Flux density measured at the mentioned periods ranged from 15mJy to 93mJy and from 1mJy to 24mJy respectively.
