## А System for Solving Basic Tasks of the Nautical Astronomy

Transactions of IAA RAS, issue 39, 91–97 (2016)

Keywords: astronavigation, reduction of altitudes, determination of the position of a ship, Kondrashichin’s method.

### Abstract

A special software to solve basic astronavigation tasks is being developed as a part of an electronic version of The Nautical Astronomical Yearbook. The program is developed in Windows C++ and uses the 2D graphic library Cairo. Value assignment is done on the graphical user interface. Solutions show up both in graphic forms (on a fixing position plotter) and in text forms (protocols). Either LSM or the Kondrashichin’s method is used for solving problems.
