About the paper

Abstract

Relativistic corrections to the propagation parameters of radio waves are determined in the ITRS. The solution is worked out on the basis of the general relativity theory with taking into account atmosphere effects, gravitational field and rotation of the ITRS. Near-Earth space in the ITRS is presented as a “gravitational” optical medium with a refraction index and a coefficient of frequency conversion. The following relativistic parameters are determined in one-way radio ranging: propagation time, frequency, phase, angle of refraction and rotation of the plane of polarization.
