About the paper

Abstract

Data Processing and Analysis Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (DPAC RAS) belongs to the Institute of Applied Astronomy. It is being used for processing observational data received by space geodesy techniques and for the computation of the geodynamic parameters. This article presents a DPAC’s software and hardware development plan to be carried out from 2015 to 2017. DPAC is going to get the following new functions: data processing for optical observations of planets and natural satellites, for radio observations of spacecraft and for lunar laser ranging; and verification of ephemerides for planets and the Moon. Attention will be paid to ensure interactive access of external users to the data, automatic data processing of observations, and data backup. New software for the DPAC will be largely based on the software package ERA. Ephemerides calculated in the center will continue the development of ways to work out the EPM ephemerides
