Abstract

Various ensembles of synchronized precision oscillators are considered in order to achieve reduction of the phase noise. Models of chains and rings of quartz oscillators mutually coupled via phase locked loops are studied numerically. The experiment with frequency combiner VCH-317 fed by four active hydrogen masers VCH-1003M demonstrates phase noise reduction and improvement of short-term frequency stability
