Characterization of the Quantum Detector Using Laser Radiation
Transactions of IAA RAS, issue 36, 3–8 (2016)
Keywords: laser radiation, quantum detector, quantum efficiency, positive-operator-valued measure, Fresnel attenuator
About the paperAbstract
The paper presents the experimental unit that provides high accuracy measurements for radiation fluxes at 10 10 watts. The key elements of the unit are a trap-detector with an integrating amplifier and a calibrated Fresnel attenuator. Using the attenuator minimizes the error in determining the average number of photons in each pulse of radiation. There is a weakening of the radiation along the energy scale from the point of measuring the energy of the laser pulse ( 10 W) to the exit point of the photons ( 10 W)
