This article describes a structure and the current status of the main GLONASS navigation field monitoring system. It states purposes and problems of such monitoring and lists main functional features of both the control system for the GLONASS target characteristics and the monitoring system created on its basis, which controls and confirms the characteristics of the GLONASS radio navigational field. It is proposed a structure of all GLONASS characteristics to be used in the monitoring
