About the paper

Abstract

The paper is concerned with the investigation technique of output stability of cryogenic receiving focal unit (CRFU) of tri-band receiving system for the new 13 m radio telescopes of IAA RAS. Stability investigation is conducted using the Allan variance and power spectral density calculations. The Allan variance correction technique and its application for wideband noise measurements using swept spectrum analyzer are presented. Time stability intervals optimal averaging times and noise fluctuation types of output signals are obtained for CRFU and used reg-istration systems also. The influence of cryogenic temperatures on CRFU output signals is considered using correlation analysis, cryogenic temperatures stability is investigated also using the Allan variance.
