About the paperAbstract
Results of development of ultrawideband feed providing frequency range of 3 18 GHz are presented. Quad-Ridged Flared Horn was selected as prototype of the feed. The feed consist of a gradually expanding horn and four longitudinal ridges, disposed in two orthogonal planes. The feed supports two linear polarizations. Excitation of each polarization is carried out by coaxial cable, with nominal impedance value of 50 Ohms, in a gap between the appropriate couple of orthogonally placed ridges. Results of electrodynamic simulation of the feed parameters are given.
