Keywords: two-element interferometer, cooled tri-band S/X/Ka feed, noise temperature measurement
About the paperAbstract
AA RAS is building a new two-element interferometer for routinery estimation of EOP. This interferometer will be based on new 13.2m radio telescopes with a cryogenic unit in the function of a receiver. This unit includes a cooled tri-band S/X/Ka feed, LNAs and isolators. The unit allows receiving RCP and LCP signals in all three bands simultaneously. This article describes a procedure of noise temperature measurement with a special liquid-nitrogen-cooled matched load.
