Abstract

To investigate the physical conditions in Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs), and for cosmological studies we suggest to create a giant VLBI interferometer with the baseline > 5000 km on the basis of square kilometer phased arrays. It is shown that this interferometer will have the sensitivity ~ 1 mJy at a frequency 100 MHz. The interferometer on the basis of diffraction arrays will have the multi-beam interferometer diagram to overlap the whole half sphere of the sky.
