Abstract

The article presents a system of the GLONASS global monitoring in near-real time mode. It describes the methods of monitoring, technical devices used in this system, results of monitoring of GLONASS functional characteristics in different regions of the Earth, accuracy of satellite characteristics (in particular, of the new satellite "GLONASS-K"). The system presented can quickly identify changes in the GLONASS satellites and promptly notify consumers about it. Studies using this monitoring system have shown that the GLONASS system currently operates in normal mode, at a good level of accuracy, and can be used for a wide range of users anywhere on Earth at any time.
