About the paper

Abstract

This paper describes the structure and classification of modern centers of information processing and data storage. We describe the standards of failover and the life cycle of data center. Buffer data center of Pushchino Radio Astronomy Observatory, designed for backup of scientific data obtained by the ground tracking station from space radio telescope in the project "Radioastron" is described.
