About the paper

Abstract

The new approach in a solution of the problem of detection of the gravitational waves, based on a simultaneous timing of several pulsars and the subsequent expansion of residual deviations of the moments of arrivals of pulsar pulses on components with a different spectral index is offered. Presence of the signal caused by presence of a stochastic gravitational-wave background is checked on two-point (angular) correlative function. This approach was applied to timekeeping data of several millisecond pulsars and allowed to register the effect similar with predicted for gravitational-wave background: correlation coefficient between a theoretical and experimental curve = 0.82 0.07.
