About the paper

Abstract

The work demonstrates the necessity of detailed studies of climatic indicators in the vicinity of antenna unit (AU) location and their consideration for the development of R terms of reference and AU design. Climatic indicators define snow, wind, ice and temperature loads affecting AU elements during operation and influence on selection of structural materials, AU stiffness, unit weight, deformations caused by snow and weight loads, AU thermal deformation, inertia moment of rotation elements, power of drive electric motors, subsequently on static and dynamic errors of AU targeting and AU cost. Climatic indicators are given on the basis of technical and normative documentation for the following population centers: Anadyr, Arkhyz, Murmansk, Ussurijsk. Climate patterns important for AU construction are specified for the above population centers. Method of random error calculation for AU targeting for combination of random factors defining the loads have been established.
