Abstract

Surface topography of RATAN-600 panel and positioning accuracy of the panel after the upgrade of the kinematic scheme are obtained with the laser API TRACKER 3. Measured errors are RMS = 0.34 mm for the effective part of the panel of the Northern sector N 711, RMS = 18 mm for repeatability of the upgrated panel N 720. We give a contribution of panels before and after a trial and automatic autocollimation alignment at 8 mm which shows significant contribution of backlash of existing kinematic mechanisms in the loss of efficiency of the RATAN-600 in the shortwave band.
