About the paper

Abstract

The work represents numerical-analytic approach to the development of software tools for calculation of electrodynamic parameters in the case of P 2500 antenna system located in the town of Ussurijsk. The method is based on application of physical optics applied for determination of electromagnetic field in near focus arbitrary point during plane electromagnetic wave incidence at preset angle. Based on the calculations it would be possible to determine such parameters as reduction of antenna system surface factor caused by distortions, level of cross-polarization, optimal position of secondary mirrors and feed antenna, as well as to correct the path of convergent mirror relating to a specific radiotelescope, in order to improve operation of a system.
