Abstract

To increase the accuracy of astronomic VLBI observations the transition from current S/X-band to X/K-band is suggested as more perspective. The article represents the working out of the model of K-band radiometer. The problem of expanding of the band and increasing the sensitivity of the receivers is solved by the use of new entrance feeders. The creating of the new modern receiving unit makes considerable increase of the reliability of the entire radio interferometer.
