Abstract

Description of the most important data resources, obtained with the Hipparcos astrometric space mission, is given in the paper. Planned astrometric missions (Gaia, Svecha, Jasmine, SIM, Dugomer), their goals, methods of observation and description of expected results are also presented. Beside that, some unrealized astrometric space projects (Lomonosov, Struve, DIVA, FAME) are briefly discussed in the paper.
