Abstract

AMPLE (Adaptable Minor Planet Ephemerides) is integrated software package to deal with a number of problems concerning minor planets: obtaining selection of orbital elements and/or photometric parameters of minor planets in conformity with imposed restrictions; ephemeris computations in various coordinate systems; comparison of observed positions with computed ones ; identification of minor planets; determination of all numbered minor planets that can be seen at certain moment within specified sky region; drawing the picture of apparent motion of minor planets in the sky; visualization of orbital motion of minor planets AMPLE application was created under Win32 standard in the environment of MS Visual C++ 6.0, under object-oriented technology. Functionality, interface, implementation, distribution and support of AMPLE are described in this article.AMPLE package version for 2010 is freeware. Access to the AMPLE distributive is open via FTP at the address: ftp://quasar.ipa.nw.ru/pub/WINAMPLE.
