Joint VLBI observations on RT-32 and RT-13 with wideband and narrowband signal registration

Abstract

VLBI observations on RT-32 are carried out with narrowband registration of signals, for example 8 channels with 8 MHz. On the new radio telescopes RT-13 signals register in wideband channels (512 MHz). Increase of data stream by 8 times is result of this. The converter of data streams was developed for overcoming this shortcoming. With its help the experimental VLBI sessions were made on RT-13 jointly with RT-32. Their results showed that use of the converter of streams allows to keep accuracy of group delay of signals when using RT-32 instead of one of RT-13 and narrowband signal registration.
