Abstract

This article considers a method to extract narrowband signals from a digital high-speed broadband noise signal. The obtained and formatted narrowband signals are transferred to the buffering server for correlation processing. The device for extracting and formatting signals is designed to be placed in a programmable logic integrated circuit (FPGA — Field Programmable Gate Array). The considered system is the “system on a chip” and its firmware is developed to be installed on a FPGA unit of the 7th generation. The function of this system is similar to the function of the Data Acquisition System for the radio telescopes of the “Quasar” VLBI network.
