Abstract

The current status and ways to improve the Russian Very Low Frequency (VLF) time transfer facilities are observed. We present the existing and new techniques, formats and equipment to transfer time signals by the Russian Navy’s VLF communication radio stations and their time signal transfer facilities. Construction principles of the existing and new time signal VLF receivers are considered.
