Abstract

We consider the development of a State Interagency information analysis system to warn and prevent potential hazards associated with the asteroid and comet danger, and to monitor the interplanetary environment. The main goals of the RAS Fundamental Research Program are: 1) organization of a systematic interdisciplinary research to study and register the space dangers and risks to the national and international security; 2) organization of an applied research to create a spacecraft designed to study asteroids and comets; 3) a research of advanced measuring, monitoring and control tools and methods.
