Abstract

The article presents the results of estimating the accuracy of global models of the tropospheric delay in comparison with the data of a water vapor radiometer (WVR). Such models as UNB3m, GPT2w, ESA-Site and GAMTZ are considered. The tropospheric delay has been calculated from the measurements of the WVRs which are located in the Svetloe, Zelenchukskaya and Badary observatories of the radio interferometric network “Quasar”, and compared with the estimations made from the models. The results obtained make it possible to recommend the GAMTZ model to a wide range of GLONASS users correcting the delay effect of the navigation signal by the effect of tropospheric refraction.
