The IAA RAS Spectrometric Data Registration Terminal Based on the R1002 Digital Data Acquisition System

Abstract

The digital Data Acquisition System (DAS) R1002 has been created in IAA RAS. Its enhanced version can be used as a terminal for registration of radio emission in spectral lines. The IAA RAS spectrometric system based on the digital DAS gives an opportunity to receive averaged spectrums and to store them on a computer hard drive. This allows analyzing data of spectro-metric observations rapidly, provides a function of high-precision pointing at a source of radio emission in spectral lines and reduces interference effects on observation results. This article describes the principles of creation, devel-opment and test results of the spectrometric registration system based on the digital DAS R1002 available in each observatory of the "Quasar" network.
