About the paper

Abstract

The main objective of the GLONASS space complex development program is improving the accuracy of on-board clocks and orbit determination. There are some delays in deploying new Glonass-K satellites due to the excellent reliability of existing Glonass-M orbit constellation. These circumstances require the development of additional actions with current GLONASS orbit constellation and ground facilities for system performance improvement according to the schedule. The paper presents results of complex study of orbits and clocks determination accuracy in different calculation and uplink modes. It is shown that orbit determination and time synchronization every 15 minutes and uploading orbits and clocks every hour will increase user accuracy to 0.3 m
