About the paper

Abstract

The global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) such as GLONASS and GPS have easily solved problems of synchronization and time determination with an accuracy of a few dozen nanoseconds. Nevertheless, the use of GNSS systems revealed low reliability of GNSS-synchronization when they are influenced by electronic warfare activities. Thus, GPS system originally includes its own electronic warfare facilities such as S/A (Selective availability) and A-S (anti-spoofing). GLONASS system does not have any own electronic warfare facilities, but (the same as GPS) it is vulnerable to the third parties’ electronic warfare systems anyway, because its radio signal is weak
