Abstract

Main aspects of modem development for a two-way satellite time and frequency transfer are presented. The modem is intended for generating, transmitting and receiving the measuring signals via duplex links, including duplex satellite and fiber link. The device is based on the digital signal processing which is implemented in a modern FPGA chip with an embedded processor. The structure of the modem and its basic parameters are discussed.
